# Timer

Values above `1x` make client-side movement, attacks, and projectiles happen faster. Values below `1x` make them happen slower.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Hypixel**

`0x` Timer is patched on Hypixel. Use `0.02x` when you need the slower timer workaround.
{% endhint %}

## Pick a preset

`Multiplier slider` chooses which configured speed is active: `A`, `B`, or `C`. The preset controls below decide the value for each choice.

## Set the preset speeds

`Slider A` covers values around normal speed. `Slider B` covers slower values. `Slider C` covers higher values.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Legit setup**

Use `1.1-1.2x` in `Slider A` for a small speed increase without moving far from normal timing.
{% endhint %}

High Timer values are easy for servers to detect. Use them only where you accept that risk.

## Reset and limit Timer

These controls return Timer to `1x` or limit where it applies:

* `Disable chat & menu` resets Timer while chat or a menu is open.
* `Disable on teleport` resets it when the server sends a teleport packet.
* `Reset on input` resets it when you press a movement key. This supports a burst-then-stop pattern.
* `Strafe only` applies Timer only while you move sideways.
