# Indicators

You can see the direction of a threat without turning your view toward it.

## Projectile types

Choose which projectiles can create an indicator:

* `Render arrows` shows incoming arrows.
* `Render ender pearls` shows incoming ender pearls.
* `Render fireballs` shows incoming fireballs.

## Direction and shape

`Render only threats` hides projectiles that are not moving toward you. Use `Arrow` to choose the indicator shape:

* `Caret` uses a `^` shape.
* `Greater than` uses a `>` shape.
* `Triangle` uses a filled triangle.

`Circle radius` controls how far the arrows sit from the center of the screen. It accepts values from `30` to `200`.

{% hint style="success" %}
Enable `Render only threats` if projectiles that are moving away from you make the screen too busy.
{% endhint %}

## Extra detail

Enable `Item colors` to use the projectile item's color for the indicator. `Render item` adds a small item icon beside the arrow.
